The purpose of the research is to develop methods, algorithms, and computational procedures of analysis, and solution (subsolution) of problems during changes at the stages of ecological and economic modelling of processes. Metaheuristics are proposed, which take into account the experimentally obtained knowledge about the properties of the model. A computational experiment was conducted to analyze the properties of the improved "input-output" model (linear system) using the method of basic matrices. This method has several software implementations of the corresponding algorithms in "exact" and "long" numbers. It includes the ability to both solve the problem (from beginning to end) and resolve the problem with changes in the model (without re-solving at first). Hence, using the example of calculations based on the speed criterion, decision-making on choosing the "best" algorithm for solving the problem is demonstrated. Keywords:
